Pros

Unlimited PTO, HMO, Flexible Work Set Up

Cons

The management initially showed promise, but the situation took a downturn with the first round of layoffs in 2022. Despite emphasizing cost-cutting measures, they continued hosting extravagant parties following each layoff, incurring unnecessary expenses. The decision-making regarding staff retention seems unclear, with the hiring of individuals at higher salaries who do not necessarily align with their roles. Power dynamics are evident, accompanied by gaslighting and manipulative behavior. The management expects exceptional operational results, yet there is a noticeable shortage of manpower, leading to daily overtime demands. The company harbors numerous loopholes known to the legal team, but corrective actions have not been taken.

Pros

i've worked with some of the most talented and intelligent people here. competitive compensation package.

Cons

poor people management, they dont walk the talk, their press release is the opposite of what they're doing internally. they say they're cost cutting, but they would also arrange for lavish parties. they dont really know what they want.

Pros

Unlimited PTO and flexible work arrangements.

Cons

Oh boy... where do we start? 1. Was going well at first but you start noticing small things that make relatively simple tasks more difficult and complicated. Some IT guys don't have a clear answer to very simple requests and most of the time it will take days before resolving. INFOSEC has questionable methods that shows a lot of red tape thus making very simple requests, like license approvals on our issued workmachines, take ages to complete. In turn, it takes doing your tasks longer due to these simple stuff. You have to ask your manager to directly contact their departments' managers just so the ball can keep rolling. 2. Hiring very, very flashy guys that don't fit well with the "system and culture" they themselves are promoting. This proved evident when several if not most of our department's projects were handled and led by people who were supposed to be "rockstars" of our industry (as our higher-ups kept on saying) but then would prove to be very, very incompetent when it came to decisions that would make our projects better and more approachable. Hiring people who exercise their authority by tossing a bunch of word salads and uber-micromanaging but tend to miss every d*mn deadline doesn't sound like good hires. They might be very expensive too, mind you, as compared to people who are actually working their butts off to make the product better. 3. Management. Very, very detached from reality. Who holds an anniversary party after a mass-layoff and expecting employees to "feel good" after a "battle cry" from your bosses. Even our own head of department knows nothing about the industry they are handling. Imagine going through a very, very difficult hiring process and actually making it and getting hired only to find out that the head doesn't know what to do. 4. Setting people up to fail. I can't elaborate much on this but I've seen this happen more than once in our department. I could go on and on with numbers 5-10 and maybe more but I think this is enough to steer you away from this company.
