I worked at Kurt Geiger full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Close knit team at store level Discount and uniform allowance Opportunity for progression New challenges every day

    Cons

Higher management - unrealistic expectation particularly on PT team members Payroll constraints- stores run too tight meaning you often have to go without a full break or solo trade

    Advice to Management

Very challenging but rewarding career. Higher management can be a challenge with you sometimes losing the freedom to actually be a manager and deal with your team and team issues in a way you see fit- if higher management have decided someone doesn’t suit their idea for your store, then they will actively manage them from the business.

I worked at Kurt Geiger part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nice 50% discount on shoes and bags

    Cons

Expect too much from you for little pay, poor management that is always changing which causes all the workload to fall of staff who are just sales advisors.

    Advice to Management

    Be more organised.

I have been working at Kurt Geiger part-time for more than a year

    Pros

-overtime if want it -employee discount (never had it even after 1 year due to HR not replying to emails)

    Cons

-had no manager for first 4 months of employment, had no training and was put straight on shifts on my own -unfair amount of work for one person when on shift on own most of the time -manager changing shifts constantly -silly mystery shop requirements which constantly get changed, made to feel like you’re harassing customers and it all feels fake and unnatural -manager thinks all staff’s life’s revolve around...
