      Pros

      You learn a lot about NYC Building Code and Zoning Resolution

      Cons

      Leaders in the office a very disrespectful and bias. They want you to work extra hours but the salaries they offer don't even cover 40 hours worth of work per week. Main leader is passive aggressive. No health insurance. No 401K They only hire recent graduates because they can manipulate them more easily.

      Unique and Educational experience

      Pros

      The office is unique in that the Principle will give a lot of responsibility and allow employees to run their projects. This does end up being a double-edged sword as sometimes it feels that there isn't a lot of support; but it presents the employee with an opportunity to research and learn how to rise to the challenge. Working here for two years will supply an equal of five years experience. The office also has an amazing and supportive culture among the project managers and drafters. Everyone treats eachother with respect and cultivates a very inclusive environment helpful for a sharing of knowledge.

      Cons

      Kushner is going through some growing pains, as any firm would when it gets a vast amount of projects in a short period of time. The senior staff is struggling to strategize ways to handle the influx and has to figure out how to navigate uncharted waters without much support from the principle.

      You’ll learn a lot and there is a lot of comradery with coworkers.

      Cons

      This is clearly a mismanaged office with immense trouble managing the amount of work vs the number of inexperienced staff.
