      Extremely bad work life balance, leadership not interested in actively listinging to their employees, very high turnovers due to unsustainable work conditions, unsupportive community and culture

      Pros

      You will meet some of the best people you've ever known at L'Arche Portland. It's a non-profit organization that maintains a lot of integrity and human-centeredness and has for decades.

      Cons

      Like many organizations in 2021, it's going through some transitions as it grows.

      Pros

      I mad so many friends at L'Arche Portland. It is a tight community and there is frequent interaction through all levels of the leadership. They encourage growth. It's fun, community based, active, and involves problem solving.

      Cons

      It's a very difficult job. It's dirty and messy and frustrating at times. That's life.
