      Pros

      Good place to start in state government, stricly 9-5 work, health insurance plan is good.

      Cons

      The agency is strongly opposed to hybrid work, they offer very low salaries, it has an anti-social work culture, and colleagues will throw you under the bus to maintain face. The LBB also heavily insulates their analysts from the legislature, so although you'll work "for" the legislature, you won't work "with" it.

      you’ll learn a lot here and a great thing to have on your resume! You also get your own office which is a plus. Great place to be if you’re interested in state policy

      Cons

      - What will make or break your experience here is the team you’re on and management - not a lot of work/ life balance during legislative session but that is expected
