Pros

Incredibly varied Very creative Good people are given licence and autonomy to take the company forward Exciting to be in a rapidly growing company Many fantastic clients in interesting fields Opportunities for world travel

Cons

Can get very busy during certain times of year (autumn in particular) Getting used to time-zoning a challenge for those unused to working for a global company

Pros

Great place to gain hands-on experience and work with a fun and friendly team.

Cons

You have to be ready to hit the ground running and take on a variety of tasks with team spirit as it's a small team. However, this could work to your advantage in gaining stronger experience faster.

Pros

Some of the clients/authors we work with are genuonely interesting & lovely to work with.

Cons

There are few things that I saw done correctly during my time at LID. While the non-management team are lovely to work with, friendly driven and smart, the leadership team at LID is in absolute shambles. There is a lack of work being done by managers, with everything being pawned off the their direct reports. Highly inflexible, a lack of transparency (with managers rarely showing up to the office and impossible to reach), a non-existent HR process for anything from small to large matters. Truly the worst professional environment I have seen in my entire career.
