Pros

Too traumatised from work bullying to think of any.

Cons

Current AUS management talks over everyone, kinda sexist and gets too comfortable with throwing everyone under the bus just to fit his own agendas. Also loves to play favourites. Poor work life balance.

Pros

Company has good values and very interesting and successful businesses across the world.

Cons

Multiple acquisition in the last years but no real integration. Success comes more from the recently acquired companies but then from inside. Strategy and organization are too often changed. It is unclear if they want to become a global company or stay Japanese.

Pros

There are different things to get involved with if you are trying to gain experience. If you have the right manager, it can mean flexibility and a decent culture Good management of COVID communications and safety Many people are down to earth Making products can be interesting and the engineering team is talented

Cons

The culture is very conservative at its core, and leadership is out of touch with the times Managers are not accountable for how they treat their staff, and bad behavior is often ignored or rewarded The higher your position, the more ability you have to blame everyone reporting to you and not meet expectations if you talk yourself out of things well enough There is a lot of favoritism and bias, you are likely to get promoted if you are well liked vs. do good work Seniority means more than actual talent in most cases Japanese owned company that is not well organized globally and often tells U.S. corporate functions to do things that make no sense Executive team gets large bonuses, despite lack of results and lack of pay increases for anyone else Many new employees leave within the first 12 months because the culture has been going downhill Internal mobility is rare because managers will sabotage prospects of good performers to keep them Little to no team building or trust on or between teams
