Pros

The people are really nice. Every co worker is super friendly and willing to show you the ropes and make you feel included.

Cons

It is a door to door (business to business) cold call company. You will be going to random businesses every single day to do a sales pitch. Its not a desk job. Each day starts with team games and then everyone disperses to their respective selling areas. There are no desks in the office for the workers, you go there then play games then go sell, and come back to go over your sales for the day and do paperwork. You don't get reimbursed for gas, it's only "taxable" later on. No base pay.

Hello Reviewer, Thank you for your feedback! We do put in a lot of investment in making sure that everyone feels welcomed and included in the business. We recognize that face-to-face sales is not a great fit for everyone. Regarding your employment experience, as you know, we require any sales representative that we hire to complete a full day of job shadowing prior to employment. This ensures that before we offer the job, the candidate is able to see the exact job duties performed, including interactions with business customers. Compensation details are also discussed within the job shadow session. We have designed our interview process so that we can be as up front as possible about the job duties and requirements. We will review everything to see if there is more we can do. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in the future. Best, The LJC Business Partners Team

Business to Business aka Door to door sales

Pros

This is an okay program for young kids who struggle with dressing themselves and speaking with others. It will teach a little about confidence. Somehow the guy who runs this place landed some really amazing people, who seriously deserve so much better. I would say the boss lucked out, and the team really is just a joy to be around.

Cons

While touting a fast-paced, high-income work environment, and professionalism, this company is a greased pig with lipstick and a fancy suit. Don't let them fool you, you will be doing door to door sales in hot, uncomfortable dress clothes, with little to prove your credentials but an old binder filled with useless paperwork. As a matter of fact, you will be forced to recite "the pitch", which has been performed by many others before you. Not only do the sales tactics contain a number of mechanical and technical errors, they are text book examples of logical and emotional fallacies that would be considered unethical in any other sales or rhetorical environment. Bandwagoning, baiting and switching, fear of losing, and straw-man arguments are all part of the "curriculum". Combine this with high-pressure competition, an inexperienced HR, failure to understand state and federal worker protection rights, a sheer and blatant mishandling of salesmanship, and a narcissistic boss (you can spot that by the response to EVERY criticism he receives just on glassdoor alone), you have the opportunity to make only commission. Then, at the end of a long day, be prepared to degraded on your job and witness highly questionable workplace behavior. But if you like to work 55+ a week with little pay, a boss who makes you wear a tie just for him (no really), and walking around outside, no matter the weather, this job is for you.

Pros

Nice coworkers who want to help

Cons

I don’t even think this is a legitimate company, not sure how it’s legal. U work 12+ hour days with no base salary, drive an hour to ur T and have to pay for ur gas, forced to spend two nights a week with ur “team”, and share a bed with a guy u don’t even know on business trips
