      Constant Lies from TRC and LMH leadership

      Pros

      Decent pay and benefits. Not much else.

      Cons

      It's clear a lot of the Emergency Room staff do not have the ability to obtain employment elsewhere. If you care about patient outcomes this isn't the place to be. LKPD treats it like the drunk tank at the jail. TRC Leadership is FUBAR.

      Pros

      The people, including the management are great and you really feel like you are part of a small community rather than a cog in a machine. People know you name and appreciate what you do.

      Cons

      From an IT perspective, issue priority can be difficult due to the impact to patient care that some issues can present. Users have issues understanding workload and factors that can delay issue resolution.

      Pros

      LMH Health sure tries hard to make it look like a great place to work. They have fun little events, involvement in the community, and incentives and opportunities for the employees. The benefits are decent. Payroll deduction as an option to pay for pharmacy items and medical bills as well as cafeteria meals and gift shop good is a nice thing. You honestly just have to find the right department for you with employees that you mesh with.

      Cons

      LMH Health has the most presence in Lawrence KS for those in the medical field, so other employment options are limited. There has often been frustration between clinical employees and managers/directors for various reasons but often because they don’t feel management understands their role completely and either doesn’t help to their full capacity or pushes too hard with frequent critical reviews.
