Pros

A few pleasant people throughout company make working here somewhat bearable.

Cons

Senior members and ownership consists of some of the meanest people I’ve ever come across professionally. Not only are they condescending and rude, they’ve created a work environment centered around humiliation and shame. Their impossibly high expectations are never communicated with you and efforts are never appreciated or supported. For the Account Executive position, you start in a 3-6 month probation period (no PTO, no benefits, no paid holiday, less salary) and besides for giving you a barely functioning, decades old computer, you will spend most of your time on ridiculous, sometimes humiliating or hazardous tasks that have absolutely nothing to do with your job function. Do not ever expect a ‘thank you’ for any of these out of scope tasks. Instead, expect criticism about your lack of passion for the role even though they never give you adequate training or a chance to perform the role you signed on for. At the end of three months they’ll make their decision on whether or not to let you go without giving you a reason. If I could echo the negative sentiments of the other past employees any louder, I would. This place deserves a 0 on the 1 out of 5 scale. If you are thinking of working here more than 3 months, I would HIGHLY recommend you reconsider.

Worst experience of my life

Pros

Some co-workers were nice. Others didn't even acknowledge my existence. worked with some big time clients but not doing anything cool.

Cons

Absolutely worst experience of my life. I applied and was hired for a pricing analyst job and then got let go for not doing a completely different job. I walked in on the first day and my boss said "we don't really have a specific position for you, but it is in the works." Rarely ever got even a hint of any sort of positive feedback from anyone. Not an hourly paid job so I worked close to 10 hours every day and would only get paid for 8. I worked 10 hours over the course of a weekend my second week there for no pay. I had two separate 12 hour days that I wasn't compensated for. It is safe to say that I was not happy with the hours or the work. one last note, I spent a day from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm hole-punching books we had printed after getting scolded for not doing it long enough the day before. DO NOT WORK HERE

Pros

My direct boss showed a desire to make positive changes to the company's culture, expressed gratitude for my hard work, and provided me with thoughtful feedback and opportunities to improve. I was able to learn a number of new skills in my position, and my supervisor trusted and respected me. Many of the staff members are kind and welcoming, and find ways to bond together as a team despite the difficult working conditions.

Cons

Stressful work environment where mistakes are addressed with blame and shame tactics from senior management. This company does not treat their employees as their most valuable asset. Many aspects of the business, including hiring/firing decisions, are done last minute and without plans in place for how to support the current team. Senior management has very high expectations, and not meeting their standards (which are sometimes not clearly stated) means being the subject of harsh judgment and humiliation. LOG-ON does not have long-term goals, and most situations are treated as "emergencies." During my time at LOG-ON, I experienced moments where I felt overwhelmed, unprepared and under-appreciated for the type or amount of work I was being asked to execute.
