I don't consider the following to be Cons but you might. If your shift is 8 hours (It always is) you will be working hard consistently for 8 hours minus two 15 minute breaks and your hour lunch (Upside to this is your day goes by very fast). They are very strict about attendance. There is a zero tolerance to being late to work, not showing up at all, and being late coming back from break or lunch. This company as most companies are is all about money and they will tell you that. So if you have kids or sick spouses or other relatives, they will only tolerate you missing work for those reasons very little. Unless there is a natural disaster like a Hurricane they expect you to show up to work. Flooding and heavy winter weather is not considered hazardous to them, unless the whole city has shut down. There is a base salary, but if you are not bringing in enough money on a regular basis forget about it. Benefits are good but could be better. If you are not getting your bonus the cost of the benefits will pretty much drain your paycheck. One last thing to consider with this job and pretty much any job. Consider the commute versus your salary, do the math. If your daily commute is 40 miles are more especially with current gas prices, you will be technically working for free.
