Pros

Great salary: in operations or restaurants, you will start at $12.05 for the first month, then get raised to $13.69, and you can expect up to almost $20 after a few years. As soon as you have a steady position, you'll be guaranteed to work 40 hours per week from the end on June to the end of August. Coworkers used to be really fun and interesting people, but they have been hiring a different type of people recently. There's a variety of positions to suite all tastes: if you don't like being outside when it's hot, be a cashier; if you don't like staying always in the same place, work for maintenance; if you want to be outside but don't want to walk all day, work as a ride operator.

Cons

Management is horrible: most managers, even at quite high levels used to be seasonal employees, and just couldn't find another job when they finished their studies. They have no formal training in management, and it shows. A typical work schedule is 12.5 hours per day, 7 days every two weeks, so you get 7 days off, including one long weekend every two weeks, but you end up being too tired to do anything on your off days. Expect to be on call for most of your first summer though.

Pros

- You only work 7 out of 14 days - You can go to La Ronde for free and bring a friend with you for free - You get 10-30% off at shops - This job is tailered for students. They take into consideration when you start and end school, there’s studying areas and they even excuse you for school related things - You get to meet a lot of people from the same age group and can make friends easily - There’s a lot of contests and activities - You get 4 breaks, 3 of 30mins and 1 of 45

Cons

- You mostly work from 9AM to 9PM or 11PM depending - It’s a minimum wage job ofc - The job can get pretty repetitive especially when you start since you mostly do kids rides - You’re on your feet most of the day which can be a real pain since it’s more than 12h of standing - Since the park is very big it takes you sometimes up to 10mins to go from where you are to the break area so you miss most of your break getting there - Like i said you start off with kids rides but there’s also rides that need someone at the door which means you could be sitting alone for 12h just making sure people are the right height - For most people it’s far
