Pros

everyone seems chilled from the outside.

Cons

don't work there if you are not a Brazilian. Micromanaging, no proper communication, upper management only listen to their Brazilian friends, people stab you from behind. The worst company culture and policy.

Pros

* A lot of room to increase one's range of duties and skill sets * Free lunch every day

Cons

* People get hired and fired quickly so people can disappear without an explanation * The company does not track finances as it should, had to downsize when a funding round was not successful * Projects are changed without warning causing delays and chaos in the workflows

Pros

* Fridge was nicely stocked * Most of the employees were nice enough and easy to work with

Cons

* Completely agree with the first review, it's definitely a legitimate one from a former employee: There's a totally an odd, unprofessional, and nepotistic structure at the top. 2 of the co-founders are Brazilian and their sole job seemed to be keeping their family and friends employed. They also started all these random Brazilian projects that was really distracting to the main business. The 3rd co-founder doesn't seem to have a clue how this is perceived by the rest of the team. Half the time, the Brazilian co-founders are speaking to the other Brazilian employees in Portuguese and no one actually knows what's going on!! This actually happened. * The 3 co-founders are like kids running through the streets. They don't have much of a plan for anything and are highly reactive. Sometimes they're on the same page, but most times, they just emerge from some room with some random plan. But nothing really sticks long-term. It really feels like no one of them have been at this level before, i.e. managing a real team. * It was truly one of the oddest and most unprofessional environments that most of us there have ever been around. Stay away and save yourself the trouble. Also, you don't have to work in this warehouse in the middle of nowhere near SFO. Zero perks there.
