Pros

Their mission is valid, the healthcare system needs help and they attempt to be that "missing link". There were good managers that worked hard and tried to maintain the mission.

Cons

They laid us off in a very unprofessional fashion, leaving the hospital to pick up the pieces with no aid whatsoever to the workers left behind. Definitely not "seamless care" as they state as it was messy and could have been prevented with even a days notice.

high rate of pay upon hire; working for Kindred Healthcare was great when it was 100% Kindred

Cons

after branching off into their own company, it went downhill quick; very poor communication between management and staff, if any; stressful environment, loud area: white noise seems to make it worse; very little time off ; terrible phone provider, constantly crashing; out of date EMR and other online applications make it hard to service the customer effectively

Tons and tons of micromanaging, random lay-offs, stuck up management, changes that do not benefit company or staff.
