Pros

Some great fellow employees to work with

Cons

Poor, inexperienced management. Inadequate training. No knowledgeable Human Resource advocate. NO BENEFITS. Employees are expected to work far more than 40 hours a week with no compensation. Messaged at all hours of the day and night by management, expected to respond promptly after working hours. Expectation that the company comes before EVERY aspect of your life. Poor work-life balance. High turnover.

Pros

Work from home Driven by technology Innovative No dress code Decent Pay

Cons

No benefits No work-life balance CEO doesn't know employment laws Cheap weight-loss platform Employee Burnout Constant changes No lunch area Computer monitoring software that tracks work time, if you went to the bathroom or need to talk to a coworker, guess what, you're not paid because it clocks you out. Fingerprint attendance system to clock in and out - will get "talked to" if you're a minute late. Don't trust the CEO Some toxic employees High turnover...as expected Lack of quality controls No training

Don't Buy the Fake Reviews

Pros

Can work remotely during the pandemic.

Cons

Everything else. Literally, everything else. I couldn't idly standby as LBWL once again bombards their job review pages with fake reviews, but here we are. The moment this company gets a negative review, it's met with pleas from ownership to wash those bad (and completely truthful) reviews away with glowing 5-star reviews. The truth of the matter is this company is downright awful. They barely gave us health benefits a year ago. Imagine if this pandemic hit in 2019? They don't pay for overtime. They saddle you with a company laptop with monitoring software and then dress it up as a perk. They make you recite the company mission statement en masse with the entire company (kool-aid not included). The company is mired in nepotism and upper management has flat out laid off entire departments with no warning or no actual explanation as to why. The company preys on their customer clientele, of whom are in large part at their most vulnerable as they are looking to make very real changes to their life, then openly boasts about how they were able to "max out a client's credit card" to ensure that sale remained. The company acts as though they care about changing people's lives for the better, and there are so many wonderful women as part of the LBWL community that are sincerely there only to better their lives for themselves and everyone close to them, but if you pulled back the curtain you would see what a truly rancid company this place actually is. Don't buy the fake reviews. Don't buy the horrifically overpriced protein powder they hawk. Don't buy any of it. RUN away from this company and never look back.
