Pros

Flexable schedule and mostly good people

Cons

It does not matter how much you work pay is terrible. You could be outputting much more work than others and still not get a decent pay raise. They seem to have the idea that it is better to let you leave and hire someone new with no experience and spend the money on training them than to give you a pay raise.

Pros

Is hourly so you dont work late? Thats about it

Cons

Underpaid positions/ underemployment, min wage for a skilled career path, below state and national $ avg for the position. Huge lack of communication my employees and upper management. No clear goal setting, no one on one meetings, zero diversity. (Which coming from a New York startup culture was alarming) their “culture” or team building is severely outdated by a solid decade. There is a holiday weight maintaining contest? Who can stay the same weight through the holidays ? Which is pretty weird and gross. Software and programs are also slow and outdated, only kept for convenience not efficiency. Laptops are not provided for remote desktop workers. This company is REALLY stuck in the past. No career growth paths to progress to. Was paid more in a college summer internship (7 years ago- pre-inflation and the great resignation) Do not miss working here. Seems the other graphic artists have art dreams of their own, but they will die if you work here full time. Happy to now work for myself full time, make more money, and further myself.

Pros

Profit sharing, employee discount program, health and wellness program, my coworkers, and you can bring your dog to the office.

Cons

Performance is based on metrics and everyone works on different tasks so this doesn’t seem fair. The training could’ve been better and more organized when I first started. They don’t pay well, raises barley make a difference in your paycheck. Work-life balance is not ideal, if you’re in a busy season expect to work mandatory 48 hour work weeks. They say you get paid holidays but not really because you have to put in 32 hours within that week to qualify for holiday pay, if you don’t, then you don’t get holiday pay. You can use PTO to make up for the 32 hours but who want to use PTO for said promised paid holiday! No career, leadership, or development programs. Not much room for growth.
