Pros

Interesting work in Geography and the Geophysical Sciences. Lectures you were allowed to attend.

Cons

Management was toxic. HR was partially paid by management grants and had no interest in helping employees.

Pros

It is a great opportunity if you want to pursue your career in earth and environmental sciences. Professors are very helpful and encouraging. You feel like you are part of something important and do something to help people. Plus, the campus is so pretty.

Cons

It is far from Manhattan and Columbia's Morningside Campus but there is a free shuttle every hour from Columbia to Lamont Campus.
