Pros

If you enjoy being on the road, meeting people and talking equipment, it's the right place to be. Which I did enjoy. Called on Governmental ( State Parks, DCNR, Fish & Boat, Game Commission. Plus every township, city and borough) Called on Commercial (Contractors, Construction Companies, Manufacturing, Landscapers and others)

Cons

Started with 113 accounts in February 2021. Built it to over 850 by December 31st 2021. They started with Salesforce Jan 1st 2022. Only 326 accounts came over. Built it back up to over 850 by mid October 2022. Supply chain was a disaster. Never had Yellow equipment (skid Steers, Excavators) on the lot to show customers. Could have sold some yellow equipment, Customers wanted it today. They had taken on jobs and couldn't wait 4 or 6 months. They don't rent Compact Construction. Bobcat, CAT, CASE and Volvo rent. Customers were not familiar with equipment. Were out of UTV's by March of 2022. How do you sell what you don't have? Next issue was everybody was cutting back. Prices of everything was going up. Cities were putting stuff on hold, that they originally had planned to replace. Townships and boroughs were saying "Fuel is up! Salt is up! Parts are up!" we need to watch our budget! LandPro's opinion is well the government never runs out of money. Sure the guys on the front line have wish lists. But the people in the office control the money. LandPro wanted us calling on 20 or 25 customers a week. I was almost always above 50 and rarely down around 40. Only if I was in the store helping out, in training or delivering equipment was it less. Unless the economy and supply chain turns around.........RUN! Almost all of the sales people were complaining of nothing available to sell. You need equipment on the ground to show and sell to people. So you will never make your numbers with no equipment and they will let you go. I wondered after taking the job why there was so much turnover of employees........I could go on, but I'll stop there!
