Barely any training and then you are thrown into the job which they expect the same result of you from a seasoned employee. High school level pettiness and groups of people. Hardly any support from coworkers and management while in the thick of the job. Pretty hands off you deal with it on your own experience.
Worked in remote office close to home, very competent and experienced co-workers at this location, plenty of autonomy and opportunity to learn and advance. Enjoyed the people at HQ I interfaced with.
Cons
Insufficient support from and engagement by HQ and senior management for our office due to the non traditional nature of the type of trading we were doing. Lack of expertise at HQ in this area.
