Local - short commute. Personal attention from management when critically required. Ease of access to partners. High quality of work produced. Good facilities.

Middle management - blocks access to general partner Slow to change or adapt to new methods Lack of open communication between staff levels Difficult administrative personnel.

Training for accounting services is sink or swim style. Management doesn't quite know what to do with us.

Great in house benefits - healthcare, office parties. Staff is friendly

Cons

Work is not assigned fairly. You must "promote yourself" for work to stay busy. If a manager doesn't like you, good luck getting any billable work. If you don't meet your billable hours, you get laid off.
