Pros

The employees are genuinely kind, hardworking, and supportive of one another. Many people care deeply about the mission and do their best despite many limitations. Benefits package is decent.

Cons

Leadership decisions are disconnected from the day-to-day realities employees face. Communication from management lacks transparency, and creates uncertainty around priorities and long-term direction. Compensation falls far below market rates for similar roles, and raises are practically non-existent. Staff turnover is very high, which puts additional strain on remaining employees and contributes to burnout.

Pros

Great staff to work with. It's a great first job to understand the start-up world, funding and grants, and the technology pipeline at the intersection of government.

Cons

Staff turnover seems quick, especially since it is younger staff. Healthcare doesn't start for 2 months.
