Pros

This hospital is small enough to not feel lost in but large enough to be able to offer valuable resources to the community. It is an easy commute with free parking. The pay structure for nurses is very competitive and hard to beat.

Cons

Leadership is non-supportive of their nursing staff. They pay nurses well but this is only because of an established Union from many years ago. They used to have the most talented nurses in the state but now have nurses with little training. They have eliminated the education department which prevents these nurses from growing professionally and delivering high quality health care.

Changing culture. Huge turnover. Benefits are slowly decreasing if not disappearing altogether. Difficult community to service
