Pros

Leap29 is not as big as other recruitment firms, but that is a positive. Everyone that works there has earned their place - everyone is consistently billing, has good understanding of their markets and upcoming projects. If you work hard and show commitment then you get rewards. There is a friendly office atmosphere, with an early finish on a friday. Work/life balance is great, as there are options for flexible working and different shifts / markets to suit your lifestyle. I am an early riser, so the early shift works well for me, and also means I have more free time in the evening.

Cons

The progression structure at Leap29 is unclear, and it is very top-heavy. There are a lot of managers who have progressed on the old progression structure, which has now changed making it unclear how to progress your career.

Pros

Rob Byrom specifically I’ve been really lucky to work with. He’s a genuinely selfless manager who always puts his team first and cares about your development as well as how you’re doing personally, more than his own. It makes a huge difference having that kind of support.

Cons

I don’t have anything negative to say, it’s a great company with great people, and I’m very grateful for the experience
