Pros

As an investment professional, I appreciate the rigour of the investment process at LeapFrog, and the quality of the team. I think it's rare, and probably unique, that this is combined with such significant social purpose. LeapFrog is growing fast, and the CEO has a big vision that drives that growth. LeapFrog has attracted big investors, so they obviously get the picture! Personally, I love working in emerging markets - the opportunity set is vast, and the companies we invest in are innovative and inspiring.

Cons

Nothing significant. It's a challenging environment, perhaps some people might not be able to take the pressure.

- The truly diverse group of people working across the globe - The ridiculously intelligent, hard-working, inspiring, funny individuals working at LeapFrog - Global reach and sharing knowledge across the company - Life-changing mission - Regardless of being "on the ground/in market" you know you are working with a team who are collectively changing lives. - Career development

Cons

- The only con I can think of is not being in one location/office you wish you could interact with the broader team face to face everyday but emails and skype suffice.

Pros

Flexibility, great work, fun and intelligent colleagues, making a difference to people's lives - what a fantastic place to be! It's exciting to know that you are contributing to a bigger cause and having fun along the way.

Cons

I want to say there is a lot of travel involved but I actually love it so I guess it's not a negative for me. Some people may find it difficult and this is very much an area that needs to be managed individually as it is part of doing business in emerging markets.
