Pros

From Engineering to Sales, Real Estate, and Customer Success, this is a collection of really smart, resourceful people. They are great at solving problems and helping each other. Benefits are good, schedules are flexible, and I have the resources I need to do my job.

Cons

Leasecake has won awards and been written up in articles because of the "people first" culture. There's a lot of talk about how "Leasecake is love" and how we’re all part of the Leasecake family, and how much we value our PEEPs. But the reality is much different from what the company tries to portray. EXAMPLE: Several co-workers won an award back in January for their contributions. Part of the award is supposed to be a fabulous retreat to a fun destination. It all sounds great when the CEO announces it. But like so many things that come out of his mouth, it’s all for show. Five months later and there’s still no talk about scheduling that trip. It just disappears. At least one of those winners was among the 11 people who lost their jobs last week. So that person will never get what they earned. That’s just one example, but there are so many others. Internally, a lot of people feel disillusioned, confused, and in the dark. Priorities and objectives shift, and leadership makes it seem like every new tactic and strategy will the THE ONE. But they don’t seem to have a clue.

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

In the short time that I worked here, I noticed that something was very off. If you're hoping to join a company where you can stay and grow for a long period of time, or accelerate your career... do not join Leasecake. In response to another recent review, it is absolutely a popularity contest and they favor the people who have been there longer. I never truly felt accepted or part of the team here. All interactions with management were extremely fake. Lastly, there could not be more of a disconnect between the Marketing/Sales Ops and Sales team.

Pros

Most co-workers are really nice and they spent a lot of money on flashy things

Cons

Toxic work environment characterized by chaotic decision making and poor leadership. The image of being an employees first, we care about you company, portrayed to new hires and clients is very different from reality. Company is financial sunk and will try to crush you into submission until they cast you aside blaming you for their failures instead of any introspection or improvement.
