Pros

Good clients, lots of work, decent salaries

Cons

Great place for white males - you will become a partner in a few years. Lewis Lee is a great rain maker and he will hand new clients off to the partners so need to go out and get your own clients. If you are a minority, then watch out. While there is no overt racism , there is clearly a subconscious bias for certain types of white males. If you are a minority and manage to get your own client, the senior partners will try to put up roadblocks in subtle ways - there will be "conflicts" with existing clients, they will belittle your client for not paying the same as some of the firm's other clients, and you won't get any help navigating the internal process of onboarding a client when you land a big client but they will assign a partner of their choosing to be a "co-lead" so that they can try and steal your client if you choose to leave the firm. The firm has a horrible record when it comes to hiring and keeping minorities.

Pros

Salary and benefits are good. There are many clients and a variety of work to choose from. Unlike many firms, you can work for multiple partners at the same time.

Cons

If you are white (including light skinned Asian), you will do well. Do good work and you will get promoted to partner. No need to have your own clients or anything. If your skin is dark, the management will do everything in their power to bring you down and prevent you from becoming partner. I landed a major client and they didn't pair me up with a partner to help navigate the intake system. I fumbled around a bit as no one gave me guidance and they used every mistake I made against me to justify not making me a partner. No Blacks, East Indians, or Latinos work here. Those involved in hiring at the firm have an implicit bias towards white males. Beware the Loch Ness monster!
