Pros

Friendly staff, in San Luis Obispo, that's pretty much it. Oh, and an employee discount

Cons

A LOT. Constantly overworked, and definitely underpaid. The CEO and his son make last-minute decisions, which in turn makes everyone scramble to get their work done - just poor planners! A lot of turnaround due to overall lack of morale in the office, and brushing new ideas aside. Stingy CEOs, yet they drive to work in their Porsches. They don't even keep basic office supplies, or napkins, or paper towels. Mostly just pens. I had to use the paper towels from the bathroom for napkins, and had to purchase/being in my own supplies. Almost impossible to take time off during the holidays. If you enjoy being a sheep and doing as you're told, then this place is for you.

Pros

It's in San Luis Obispo? There really isn't much more than that.

Cons

The CEO and his son (the "Chief Strategy Officer") are absolutely insane. They provide no transparency, micro-manage everything, and the CEO has a temper the likes of which I've never seen in the workplace. They are beyond stingy: -No plastic utensils -No coffee in the office -No paper cups -You want a stapler? Borrow the secretary's Yet with all of these "austerity measures" they continue to drive crazy Porsches to work each day. I was deeply under utilized by my direct manager and the executive team, despite repeatedly asking for more work and projects. I felt I was never given a chance to help move the business forward or even make a case for my ideas. If it's not their idea, it's just never going to happen. I saw almost 1/5 of the staff leave in my short tenure, and many of them breathed a welcome sigh of relief when it was done. I did too. Not a good sign at such a small company. During the interview process the values of teamwork, positive social environment, transparency, and fun were all mentioned, yet none of it was true

Best thing you can do is just say no to an interview.

Pros

Solid schedule, funny Co workers, hour lunches, weekends off (most of the time)

Cons

If you are applying for a warehouse Job here, think again! These people are crooks! The CEO of the company believes he can pay an entire warehouse staff (putaway, receiving, auditing, etc) for minimum wage. While he drives to work in his Porsche GT3. Oh did I also mention his son is a major wealth collector and drives a Porsche to work too? They may promise you higher wages at the warehouse when you start, but trust me, that day most likely won't come. There are people that have been working there for over a year and still make minimum wage. They will put off your review as long as they can. Not to mention, there is an extreme inferiority complex between the office and warehouse. Everyone there treats you like their slave. There is no worse place I've ever worked.
