Legacy Pointe at UCF has a strong sense of purpose, and you can tell people genuinely care about the residents and the work they do. The connection to UCF makes it feel different from a typical senior living community, and there are opportunities to step up, take ownership, and make an impact. I’ve personally learned a lot working here, especially in a fast-paced healthcare environment where you’re constantly adapting and solving problems. If you’re proactive, your ideas are heard and you can really grow in your role.
Cons
Like a lot of growing organizations, things aren’t always as structured as they could be. Communication can be hit or miss depending on the situation, and sometimes it feels like you’re figuring things out as you go. The pace can also get pretty intense, especially in healthcare, so it can be stressful at times.
