Pros

They make big lizard and big monke movies

Cons

Big lizard doesn't get much screentime at all compared to big monke despite his name being first in the titles

Pros

An incredible collection of people who are all passionate about the work they do and the brands they represent (Nerdist, Geek & Sundry, Amy Poehler's Smart Girls).

Cons

Leadership (or lack thereof). Decisions have recently been made that all but doom LDN (specifically Nerdist and Geek & Sundry) and everyone in the company knows it, aside from our stubborn President who has massive delusions of grandeur. There is zero doubt that in a year's time, the Nerdist and Geek & Sundry brands will either cease to exist in their current forms, or Legendary will sell them off for pennies, all because of the current trajectory. With the above said, along with the suffocating stranglehold the executive team has placed on everything, we are experiencing a steady stream of key talent leaving the company in it's most crucial moments. People here are undervalued, mistreated, and spoken to inappropriately by leadership who feel that they are untouchable. What is happening at LDN is so incredibly disappointing. There is unending potential here, and it could be an amazing place to work, but morale is nonexistent. It would be interesting if Legendary invested some time into taking a look at what was happening over at their little brother's place (LDN) - no doubt they would help right the ship.

Pros

Fun place to work, the new office is amazing and the employees are young and fun. You will feel like part of a team working for something bigger than yourself. But be prepared to work demanding hours for demanding executives.

Cons

It's a lot of work, long hours and assistants don't qualify for overtime unlike most studios. Also, you should know going in that assistants do a lot of personal stuff for execs (errands, personal travel/shopping, etc.). Benefits were very expensive, though I have heard they have improved this year. I would try and work in TV or digital over film, as those departments are up and coming and seem to have more action than features (at least when I left).
