There was an expansion in the internal teams in early 2022, followed by a subsequent reorganization that resulted in mass layoffs. This transition has led to increased workloads and minimal coverage for the remaining accounts. While this has been a challenging period, I appreciate the resilience and dedication of my colleagues in making the best of the situation.
In terms of career growth, I believe the company could benefit from a more structured approach. Timely and constructive feedback from managers is an area that can be improved to capitalize on opportunities and enhance professional development. The sales team, though driven, may benefit from a more balanced approach in their interactions with clients.
Amid these changes, the company has shown adaptability by pivoting towards acency recruitment activities to sustain its operations. This shift has brought new challenges for the recruiters including long work hours and feelings of corporate burn out. Essentially with us being overworked when we already makes below market wages.
In light of the limited talent acquisition opportunities, some employees, including myself, are considering future career moves. This decision stems from the desire for enhanced development opportunities that align with our professional goals since we currently have no positive outlook on developing our staff. Despite these considerations, I am grateful for the experiences and connections forged during my time with the company.
