      Used to be a nice place to work. Has gone terribly downhill.

      Umm...location? It's air conditioned in the summer?

      Cons

      Management constantly cutting benefits. Constant threat of layoffs. Overall climate is "you're lucky to have a job at all". Adversarial management - employee relationship. Management not at all receptive to constructive criticism--basically want you to keep your mouth shut.

      Pros

      The Aurora fitness center is very nice.

      Cons

      Small hospital means limited resources, including trained staff. Vacation time most likely will not be approved by management, so staff call-in.

      Small hospital with lower acuity patients

      Cons

      Doesn’t stick to policies and procedures. Negative working environment. Low pay scales and not up front. Horrible charting system . Hiring process is very long.
