Pros

Routinely promote from within, annual raises for merit and market, very transparent in income grades and ranges

Cons

Large disconnect in both directions between administration office/management and the branches that management sees no interest in attempting to fix.

Pros

Good entry level opportunities, easy to hang on to your job if you keep your head down and do the minimum.

Cons

This compnay strongly favored white heterosexual male employees, AND women who listen to white, heterosexual, "alpha" type male employees. If you look into the compnay's history, it has had a very low percentage of employees from diverse demongraphics to up until 2020s. Even after they started aggressively catching up on their "quotas", the turnover for these employees with diverse backgrounds is much higher. Empty words can only last so long before people from diverse backgrounds feel uncomfortable and leave this place. This compnay is not going to fail any time soon, but it is not future proof. Do not spend too much time here if you are not the "perfect“ human specimen.

Pros

One of the biggest Credit Union on the Ontario-Southwest

Cons

Due to the fast growing the company have been created Manager and Supervisor position but the selection process for them is poor, the staff selected internally don't comply with the job posting requirements. Therefore the Management has no experience and studies to manage the customer and employees needs and concerns. The staff is promoted due to they agree with all the decisions of the VPs who has been in the company for more than 20 years and don't have the vision for keeping the company up-to-update in technology and products.. There is not room for a fresh ideas. The management style is more close to run a farm that a financial institution.
