Very unprofessional!! I got selected after clearing all the interview rounds and myself being a trained teacher in international schools with five years experience, Getting a job of Curriculum Developer was very exciting so I took the offer.However ,on the first day of my job they expected me to write lesson plans in order to teach concepts on a digital media.They asked me to review a video in which a classroom teacher was teaching I was asked to suggest strategies for digital media.On the second day, I was asked to again write a lesson plan on place value a considering online teaching. I wrote both plans according to classroom teaching which they clearly rejected saying that I am not apt for the company. Now,my question is where was the training given to me related to online teaching as it was promised by them before I joined. They had told me that with guidance,you will produce work for us since you have potential as a teacher. And then from the first day they expected me to write for online teaching without any training and guidance and on the very second day being told that I am not apt for the job. I'd this a joke? Why did they hire me, they knew that I had taught in international schools and also the fact I declined few good job offers only because I gave committment to this company..If they expected to produce online teaching stuff from the first day without any training then why they hired me knowing very well what my profile was. No established company does like this. They will have to give compensation for minimum 15 days or else I would defame the company in the social media and sue the company as I have the offer letter as my evidence.
