I was put in an unsafe environment (1.1 with a male who had previously held a knife at my neck) and was sexually assaulted. I called our team support line for help and they told me I had to finish my shift (a sleepover) and report to the police the next day. Excuses were made for the male and I was told I should stop working and apply for centrelink. No support from anyone. I wasn't even sent the ph number for EAP. I was 19 and this was my first Support Work role, management should have guided me in what to do, not used my naivety to their advantage.
