      Pre-Vungle: Compensation and benefits package is ideal, with 401k matching Founders were involved Great work-life balance passionate colleagues fun offsites/holiday parties, transparency from leadership supportive from teams and leadership

      Cons

      Pre-Vungle: Some colleagues can be toxic and ego working together work-life balance can be disrupted drastically if something breaks or a solution is not implemented correctly (sometimes can lead to being thrown under bus) various cliques in teams, hard to approach too many mid-level managers with little to no experience in maintaining teams career advancements can be hard Post-Vungle: What a mess. New CEO, Jeremy Bondy, and upper management only look out for their own teams. Most, if not all, US/Brazil (mainly previous Liftoff) employees were drastically affected with no regard for employees. How the layoffs were executed was messy and had no transparency. Former employees' access was restricted the morning of without any knowledge and after 10 minutes of being booted, everything was shut down on the work laptop. Current employees feel uneasy and anxious about future layoffs and the state of the company, the entire org was gutted because Blackstone bought Vungle at too high of a price plus real-estate...now it's all tanked

However, it’s important to acknowledge that this characterization of our restructuring includes opinions that don’t align with the facts. For instance, implying that a large number of employees were “drastically affected” contrasts with the fact that a small percentage of people were impacted, and they were offered a generous severance. Liftoff legacy employees were also not disproportionately impacted. Thanks to focused efforts, today our business is strong. Our team highly values our people, our culture, and doing great work together – and we’ve committed even more resources to programs that support the growth of our employees, plus events to keep our people informed and connected. We work hard to ensure fairness, and while tough decisions are needed to maintain the success of both the company and our employees, these are done with purpose and compassion for each individual.       All Downhill post merger

      Great benefits and WFH ability - Great people and co-workers

      Cons

      Management from exec down is a mess - work life balance does not exist - they say they care about all employees, but they really don't - favoritism/nepotism is very clear in certain teams. Exec team has changed numerous times in the past year and nothing came out except 5 rebrands. This downhill battle has been real before and after the recent layoffs.
