So many, many cons. This company is ran by the egos of the HR department. Unbelievable the double standards that exist here. Rampant sexism, and double standards - set by HR. This is the most incompetent group of leadership I’ve ever seen. Arrogance, pious, ignorance and incompetence are the words I would use to describe the senior most leadership. The management has been friends for so long they are blind to the fact that HR and the ‘clique’ has come dangerously close to ruining the company again and again. They’ve recently told many of us to go find other jobs, why? To clean up the books prior to an acquisition. The company hasn’t been profitable in years. That strategy has been used again and again. From the outside, sure, they look successful - but it’s a shell. Clients are dropping like flies, and they are desperate to fix it, but aren’t invested enough to actually make a change. The retention doesn’t exist and overturn in employees is constant. People that were loyal and stuck with them through the hard times have been disregarded, and thrown away like yesterday’s garbage. Customers are treated poorly, and no one actually cares about the customer. Maybe the front line employees, but not senior management, if they did they would actually put processes in place to make a difference. My advice would be to run as far away from this place ( especially if you are a customer considering using their devices, you will be severely disappointed as they never deliver upon what they sell you) but if you do decide to take a job, negotiate your salary upfront because otherwise, raises are non existent. Growth is stagnant and don’t expect opportunities. The company’s performance has been so poor year after year - bonuses or raises are non existent. They treat the operations staff like the whipping boy, all the garbage of broken processes gets dumped there to deal with. The management is clueless and so completely disconnected that it’s obvious they have no long term investment in the customers, employees or communities. They are only in it for themselves.

Every employee is terrified of the HR dept. HR calls the shots at this company. Every new employee is told upon arriving to their group by existing personnel, "Don`t rock the boat or Don`t go there or you will get fired if try that". Employees get fired for no reason and without notice. LightEdge customers are angry and threaten to have you fired if you mess up their ugprade. Executives promote a chasm between their level and everyone else, as well as a divide between sites and locations. Executives are held to NO standard or accountability for any of their actions or words. Employees' titles and positions within groups are just randomly changed via email with no prior notification or discussion. Basically employees are "demoted" on the spot over email.

Pros

They will pay for a few certifications and probably looks good on a resume CEO seems nice. If you are part of the "In Crowd" you might get paid really well and promoted. Low Energy suck-ups will flourish here.

Cons

Bad hours High employee turnover as they fire people at random with little thought and other employees just leave due to mistreatment Toxic management and employee environment (North and South teams are constantly at odds with other) Not female gender healthy, the management cares little for female co workers and demands a much higher bar than male counterparts. ( this con for North Only, South team is much more accommodating) Not Generally healthy to any Non-White persons. The management prefers a pale group of yes men and reacts more poorly to non white coworkers who are also more likely to be fired or verbally abused ( this con only for the North team, South team is very diverse and this is probably the cause of much of the anger and distrust between teams)
