Pros

Work-Life Balance, decent compensation, workload is fair, privately owned company

Cons

Lack of training, no formal onboarding or training program AT ALL, very little access to HR, “good old boy” company culture, and a serious lack of understanding regarding where money should be spent.

Pros

This really is the best place to work. I admit I have juggled jobs in my career. But I have found my forever career home. When the 80+ year old owner walks around and tells you that you are valued. That goes a very long way. Profits are shared with the employees with an annual bonus. Benefits are negotiated to keep employee costs down. They genuinely care about everyone as an individual, not just a payroll number.

Cons

There are none to mention about this company

Pros

They are fair, consistent and treat everyone with the same respect. It doesn't matter if you are management or the last hourly guy hired, they always greet you and tell you that you are valuable. That goes a long way these days

Cons

Insurance is a bit pricey but I understand they are not a FEDEX size employer. I do wish you could earn/accrue vacation when you are hired. Instead you must wait one year for a paid day off. But I hear they are working on that.
