      The company always politely assisted me with whatever I needed and was open, ready, and willing to talk. They also were very patient and understanding.

      Cons

      No cons but depending on your position, you may work at a school where the work environment differs.

      Pros

      Your experience will depend on your supervisor and support staff. There is a closer connection with students and their families than some other education jobs. Good benefits and holidays. More flexibility to work with the individual kids than Gen Ed.

      Cons

      This is a business and above all they want to remain employed by the districts even if it means ignoring the needs of the students. Some supervisors are clueless and vindictive. Support staff that were aggressive to the children were simply moved to New rooms instead of fired. Lots of off hours work needed to get by.
