      Supportive engineering team and valuable public project experience

      Pros

      The engineering team is outstanding, very professional, friendly, and easy to work with. They respond quickly and are always willing to help solve design coordination issues. Diverse public projects . Supportive senior staff who provide guidance without micromanaging.

      Cons

      The architecture department is relatively new and still growing. It has gone through some team changes in the past few years, and certain systems and workflows are still being developed and standardized.

      LHJ is committed to providing an excellent work product. Despite being a smaller company, they secure big, exciting projects that are important to the community. They do a good job of developing new employees.

      Cons

      LHJ has a workaholic culture. They had multiple large lay-offs after the work from Hurricane Katrina slowed down.
