Pros

A lot of great people to work with. For the most part, family comes first. Get a lot of free lunches and an abundance of office snacks.

Cons

Very low salaries for work done. No annual reviews unless you beg for it and raises are few and far between. Benefits stink. Very much "good ole boy" mentality. Select few receive lots of perks that are not offered to all employees. If you like Trump, you'll love the owner of this company; they share most of the same qualities. Management boasts on screwing the client.

Pros

They do their best to make you feel like you are a part of their family and are very welcoming. Free lunches occasionally and company outings.

Cons

The direct manager above me would rather give me more menial work if I made mistakes rather than trying to work with me and develop my skills so that they were stronger. So if mistakes were made he stopped caring about your career trajectory.

Pros

I would liken working at Links Technology to working with family. Everyone you work with up to the owner is very thoughtful, helpful, and wants to see you develop as an employee as much as the development of businesses they support. If you have passion for all things IT, then this is the job for you. There is always something to do and new things to learn. It just requires the desire to want to get better as an administator.

Cons

This is not a typical 9-5 job, as clients will contact at all hours of the day. There is an expectaction that some issues be responded to, which can cause some challenges with personal and family time. This leads to only some of the more dedicated employees to be the only ones responding. Given the size of the help desk support team, there doesn't seem like much room to move up in the company. There isn't any defined promotion standard.
