Pros

None. If you love working in a technology company that treats all the technology folks like serfs and disrespects women, this is the place for you! The ONLY person in upper management that knew what he was doing was removed as CTO and marginalized with the title of "Chief Architect". This guy designed, architected and built the entire system with only 3 other engineers, yet it takes some 30 other "managers" somewhere in Atlanta to tell them what to do. Life in this company is like living in a Dilbert cartoon.

Cons

1. There are NO women in any position of power in this company. 2. It is an engineering company that lets non-technical "managers" hire technical folks. ALL of the engineers and Sys Admin hires in the Atlanta office are totally useless dead weight. They have no idea how to do anything, yet they all get paid salaries to work short hours and dump on the real employees who get things done in the technical office in Long Beach. 3. They hired some consulting company and paid them tens of thousands of dollars to learn what everyone who is technical at the company already knows: there are way too many managers and too few actual technical people at this company. It is so top heavy with over paid "managers" that it is listing. 4. The ineptitude of the upper management and the utter lack of leadership causes huge issues company wide. The disrespect shown the technical geniuses who built this company is confounding. 5. They change health insurance every year or two, and give employees about two weeks to figure everything out and make a decision. 6. The dedicated technical staff works insane hours to work miracles after the non-technical 2/3 of the company screws everything up, yet when those miracles are pulled off no one says a single word of thanks. 7. No promotions. No raises. Only demotions and additional ridiculous hoops to jump through to get your job done. 8. They reorganize every 8-10 months, but they never seem to get rid of any of the bloat. With each re-org they simply add more managers above the other managers who are all telling the handful of Engineers and Sys Admins what to do. (The same people who made the software a reality and had it up and running long before any of the "managers" even worked there)! 9. While they do offer snacks in the kitchen, the budget for them seems to keep shrinking, and the items that are ordered are ordered by people in another office, so they don't even order things that the folks in our office actually want to eat. 10. The ice maker has been malfunctioning for several years. The soap dispensor in the kitchen is broken. Temperatures in the office run in the 80s-90's and no one seems to be able to fix the problem. If you have a problem with another employee, suck it up or leave. No one cares.

CTO is a big show stopper

Pros

Linq3 has a wealth of talented technical personnel and developers with a fresh pool of management who have enterprise level experience to spearhead this company to the next level

Cons

CTO!!! say no more; unfortunately he is lost in time. Should any company have a need to beta test monitors or orchestrate ploys to have departments turn on one another then he would be the ideal candidate; uncontrollable when it comes to spending money

Pros

There is a great anticipation and acceptance for positive changes that the new management is bringing to the team. Strong product release in July is fueling growth and opportunity. You can come in, get up to speed and quickly start making a difference as the organization is not stuck in process, tradition or slowness. Entrepreneurial environment, fast pace, great future.

Cons

Not really a con, just know that when you come in it is a matter of how fast can you learn and how quickly can you contribute as the team are all focused on the same mission.
