Supportive and friendly as a culture.

Cons

Emphasizes boxed curriculum over tailoring to students levels or needs. No creativity. Bored students are a constant problem. No professional development that isn’t related to classroom management.

Families are very engaged in the learning process of their children.

Cons

Higher management is fearful of teachers who are strong in their opinions. A lot of teachers do what they are told and keep their concerns secret in fear of losing their jobs. A lot of intimidation by upper management.
