Pros

Great people work here. Great product that is beating the daylights out of the competition. Great customers who care about the email community.

Cons

It used to be a fantastic place to work with a genuinely positive culture. They had great benefits and cared a lot about their people. Since then, the company has taken investment money and grown incredibly fast to the point that no one knows anyone anymore and it has become a sales machine since the founders sold out. Profits first, people second. I would also highly recommend steering clear of the Sales team in particular. The management on that side is very traditional and BRUTAL. This is not coming from a disgruntled former employee so take heed...

No Business Ethics

Pros

These soon disappear once you scrape past the surface.

Cons

This company is literally rotting from the inside out. No business ethics here. This company will do anything for money. Treatment of employees is perverse. Constant bullying, overworking and bad treatment towards staff. Security is too little too late. Do not give these people access to your data. By far the worst company I've ever worked for.

Unsure of future with leadership

Pros

Great benefits, and work/life balance. The product is good, but not keeping up with real innovation. Started out as a great place for growth, but was stunted after reorgs and leadership priorities changing more than once over a short period of time.

Cons

Leadership keeps changing where they want the company to go, so it changes how everyone does their jobs. Lots of turnover due to burnout from staff in sales, marketing and operations. There is almost zero diversity at Litmus, which is disheartening with them always talking about being inclusive. Mostly run by white men in executive roles.
