Pros

Solid group of veteran employees, but number is drastically dwindling. I really cannot think of many "pros" in my years at Live Well.

Cons

This list could get long, but simply put, the cons start at the top with Senior Management. Senior Management is so out of touch with all day to day operations, that they are blind to obvious facts. -Zero Room for growth -Poor Communication -Asked to do the job of 5 employees, yet paid like 1/2 an employee -Senior Management expects you to suck up -Extremely high turnover, simply due to the poor work environment. -VP tries to run his ship like the military. If it is not done exactly like he wants, you will be reprimanded. -Extremely poor HR department that is not confidential at all. -VP laughed in meetings and encouraged people with complaints about him to go to Human Resources because they would definitely tell him who it was and what the issue was. -Same complaints from several different employees go un-noticed because the complaints always involve Senior Management. -Disrespectful attitudes by all of the Senior Management. -No chance at receiving a raise -Poor communication in regards to open positions within the company. -Vice President talks to his direct employees like they are children and with zero respect. -Corporate atmosphere was absolutely toxic.

Pros

Good location (however you're not allowed to park in building parking lot) and good training program for those with limited mortgage experience.

Cons

New MLO's are expected to work old recycled leads for months. Typical day consists of calling the same 50 - 75 "leads" 2 to 3 times/day "mining for gold". Quality leads are few and far between with most good leads going to a select group of MLO's. Very high turnover and low morale.

Pros

Good basic training and licensing program. Can be a fun office environment. A place for entry level people to get feet wet. Salesforce CRM.

Cons

Low office morale. Lots of turnover. Loud overcrowded office space. Almost all LO's are new to industry (college grads and career changers). Horrible leads. They even scrub/wipe old leads and give them back as "new". The commission structure is the lowest in the reverse mortgage industry while the salary is higher. Don't expect to make too much more than the base salary, however. No 401k. Health insurance is a high deductible out-of-state plan. You cannot park in the buildings parking lot or you will be towed(live well wont provide a parking pass) - you have to walk 1/2 mile across the freeway to get to work. I would suspect some of the positive reviews are made by management (happy as a penguin and 3/2014 especially).
