Pros
The CEO has a sales background so she is great at encouraging the employees and executives or in selling something, from a new direction for the company to a new cold brew coffee maker, however, the follow-through is poor. Great sales ability though. I would consider going back to the company if the leadership team was updated. A lot of managers have no experience in SaaS companies and their previous field of work doesn’t relate to their current positions… might be good, but probably not.
Cons
As another employee had posted here, it's not always what it seems. You will find out randomly that key employees who are the heart and soul of the company are leaving with little to no notice. Managers are put in a position where they have little to NO experience in managing, or in SaaS companies. Then, when they have to actually manage people they become "robots" and are not human, sympathetic, encouraging, or follow through on “professional development”. There is a positive in this, you could create your own professional development course, but little structure on how to get yourself to where you want to be. Low salary. Like super low. You may hear the CEO yell across the whole office, not in a celebratory way, but rather because she can’t get the TV to play her slide deck. This sets the standard for how employees speak to one another. For a while, years ago, there were culture surveys but they stopped… maybe because they didn’t like the feedback. These new employees leaving reviews haven’t been here long enough to have an idea of what goes on. They should be providing reviews on the interview process instead.
