FRAUD. Lies to the government, lies to employees, and silences whistleblowers.

Pros

Severance — if you agree to shut up. But it’s a joke: one week of pay per year worked. That’s their idea of “thanks for your service.” You’ll learn exactly how not to run a company. If you enjoy watching federal funds misused in real time, it’s a front-row seat. Want to see how shady companies weaponize mandatory arbitration clauses and force NDAs to muzzle employees? You’ll get the full tour here.

Cons

Leadership is built on nepotism, secrecy, and retaliation. Ethics? Nonexistent. Misrepresenting data, mishandling federal funds, and violating privacy laws were common occurrences. Employees who raise valid concerns are silenced or pushed out. Layoffs with no WARN notice, followed by hush money and threats. The company is currently part of a class action lawsuit for violating the WARN Act during a previous layoff. HR exists solely to protect the company, not the people. Promotions and job security are based on loyalty, not performance or integrity. Transparency is a buzzword they use in meetings — not a value they uphold. Expect burnout, betrayal, and backroom deals. You’re disposable. And they make sure you know it.

Pros

Good compensation Work/life balance Interesting products Decent home office equipment Remote Great pay if you are looking for a short gig while seeking other opportunities

Cons

I was employed for approximately 4 months when leadership laid off nearly half of the company from various departments. All impacted by the layoffs were herded into a video meeting and provided very little details regarding the layoffs. The company has re-branded their name so many times it's hard to keep track of which company is still operating. Lack of job security and transparency. They seem to hire based upon potential "deals" which tend to fall through.
