Pros

Excellent health benefits, vacation, sick time. Some amazing co workers, hard working caring team players. Forgiving of minor mistakes. They do give you a 2nd, sometimes even a 3rd chance if you screw things up.

Cons

Honestly doesn't pay enough. The wealth among the company isn't really distributed evenly. I literally work all the time and still scraping to get by. Many other employees have this as either a 2nd job or leave to find better paying jobs which is what I'm trying to do. Rarely do we even get Christmas bonuses.

Pros

Wonderful coworkers, very hard working counselors. Excellent for a college or highschool grad or someone that can't get a job with a more progressive agency.

Cons

Pay is about 25% less than industry standard across the board. Benefits are stone-age and very expensive. They don't offer vision. The agency operates at a loss year after year. There are better NPOs with better pay and more organized. Don't start a family here.
