      Pros

      Lots of OT, can pick hours from other houses within the community.

      Cons

      Heavy work with residents; Company doesn’t care to see that workers are over feeding the residents and how fat the residents get and keeps over feeding them.

      Pros

      The people you support will forever change your life. I had the privilege of supporting and caring for some of the most funny, brave and unique people. They are 100% the reason I stayed for as long as I did.

      Cons

      Always short staff and minimal support from upper management, including the cooperate office, and program managers relying too heavily on assistant program managers to do paperwork and 8+ hours of direct care on the day to day, but not willing to step into coverage or pick up extra days, but assuming the APM will.
