Pros

Company previously had a competitive product in the space and a good culture in the US team. Strong product developers in Tel Aviv

Cons

The US team culture has been completely destroyed by constant turnover and replacing the former culture with essentially an entire team from Black Duck. They have placed highly inexperienced, untrustworthy people into VP/leadership roles despite never having management experience, which has lead to an erosion of prior success. This is compounded by competitors getting acquired and creating much more valuable products due to their access to more resources, while Logz.io struggles to get its business model and marketing enabled to compete. All of this and more is why I had to get out of there, since there was no reason to be treated so poorly at a company who doesn't seem like they will compete moving forward

Pros

There are some extremely solid people still working here. Note to recruiters.

Cons

Product is years behind market: Elastic owns ELK, Grafana Labs owns Grafana, Logz lacks innovation and doesn't have any differentiators in an extremely crowded space with others including DataDog, Splunk, SumoLogic, AppD, NewRelic, etc. Founder led & micromanaged. Do your homework before joining this company. Hint: Former employees on LinkedIn.
