      Leadership micromanages everything

      Pros

      Loma Systems is part of Illinois Tool Works, and it's a great corporation to work for as they like to develop their talent to succeed. I enjoyed my time there, and the benefits were excellent.

      Cons

      The North America business leader has been a micromanager in every aspect and has not learned what the company does. He has micromanaged to the point where he has created a toxic work environment, and key leadership (some who had been with the company well before he joined) and other hard-working employees have left since his tenure.

      Pros

      If you can work independently, learn fast, and perform- you can get far and be relatively left alone. Travel perks, Health Insurance and 401k options are VERY good with ITW. Benefits as a whole are good.

      Cons

      If you are not ready for travel, a territory sales role will not be for you anywhere. Internal communication can have challenges like anywhere else.
